Customer Service Agreement & Disclaimer

This document outlines the scope of services provided by AG Gas Service and establishes important customer responsibilities and limitations related to gas line installation work. Acceptance of services constitutes acknowledgment and agreement to the terms below.

Scope of Work

  • Pricing for gas line installation includes trenching only.

  • Backfilling, grading, landscaping restoration, and surface repair are not included unless expressly stated in writing.

Utility Location and Excavation

  • AG Gas Service will request utility location services and will hand-dig near marked utilities to the best of our ability in order to avoid damage.

  • While reasonable care is exercised, unmarked, inaccurately marked, or privately installed utilities may still be subject to damage, for which AG Gas Service shall not be held responsible.

Irrigation and Sprinkler Systems

  • Sprinkler boxes and primary feed lines will be hand-dug around and avoided where reasonably possible.

  • Individual or secondary sprinkler lines are typically not locatable and damage to such lines may occur.

  • AG Gas Service does not perform sprinkler or irrigation repairs and assumes no responsibility for repair or replacement of damaged irrigation components.

Appliance Relighting and System Checks

  • Upon completion of gas line installation, all connected gas appliances must be inspected and relit if necessary.

  • If work is completed while the customer is not present, the customer assumes full responsibility for ensuring all pilots and appliances are properly relit and functioning safely.

Excluded Work

Unless specifically included in a written estimate or contract, the following are not part of AG Gas Service’s scope of work:

  • Plumbing connections or modifications

  • Electrical connections or wiring

  • Appliance installation or setup

  • Backfilling, finish grading, or landscape restoration

  • Irrigation or sprinkler repair

Limitation of Responsibility

AG Gas Service shall not be liable for:

  • Damage to unmarked or privately installed underground utilities

  • Damage to irrigation or sprinkler lines not reasonably identifiable

  • Customer failure to relight or properly operate gas appliances after service completion

  • Work or conditions outside the defined scope of the written estimate
